IMPORTANT - Rules

It's time I made some of the Faio rules clear. Although I have posted rules in the forums and chat area, so far there hasn't been any general rules for private messaging and comments. Until now.
Be sure to check back every once in a while, as these rules may change over time.
- No private information sharing. This includes Cities, E-mails, and social networking links. If you are under 13, this is illegal; if you are over 13, you are still breaking Faio's rules and you will lose your membership. Many of you list your city on your profile as your location, doing so is breaking this rule. List your country/state instead. [Or planet ;)]
- No offensive language. This includes swearing and insulting, as well as using God's name in vain. After all, Faio is mostly a Christian community.
- No link sharing without permission. Whether it's a Youtube link, or your own personal website, it must be approved by the Faio admin. [Wait...that's me :)] This rule is only enforced in the chat room and comment areas; links are OK in the forums because they are monitored more closely.
- Those under 13 MUST use Faio only with a parent. It's not just a Faio rule, it's the LAW. Any website in the United States with communication features [like that comment area below] apply to this law. NOTE: Having special permission from your parents is the only exception. You must explain to them about the comment, chat, and forum features and they must fully understand what you are doing on here. Read more about creating an underage account here.
- No flooding/spamming. Don't post a bunch of times, and only post if you really have something important to say.
Breaking a rule may result in a loss of membership on Faio, depending on the severity.
Please notify me immediately if you witness someone breaking a rule. [Especially if they private message you.]
These rules basically only apply to those who comment, and those who are members. If you just come to Faio to listen to free episodes, you are not affected...so....

@FAIOAdmin your right about the constitution (I looked it it only talks about that THE GOVERNMENT can't take away free speech 
). I wouldn't share information probably but I think it should be "FAIO highly recommends you do not share you private information, do so at your own risk." Because that puts you in a good legal place and private information then will be kept at a minimum. Because I think it's near imposable for you to keep all private information off this site I noted you missed a few things like the Chatango information a few people have their city, and age on there.
I think the rules are good but need some fine tuning. But if you would really perfer to keep it this way go ahead.

@John the map isn't accurate AT ALL. It might say one place one day, and another place another day. All it does is roughly trace your IP address.
I hate no link sharing. But you only said that it must be reviewed by you for chatroom and private messaging and blog. But you said the forums it was ok to link share. I mostly just want to post the videos I make, and the podcasts that I will be making later.
I wasn't going to give out that info anyway. Can't you see their city on the map in the chatroom anyway?
I thought it was obvious. It's to protect Faio users privacy and safety.

Rules 2,4, and 5 are great. I am fine with no link sharing, it make the site safer
. But no sharing information (Rule 1), why? I think that violates the constitution, you should say "FAIO highly recommends that you don't share your information."

I suppose their good... But the thing I dont understand is how come you can see our emails and we cant see each others?
Did I ever mention that I hate age rules? I cant really do anything until Im 13. So I would start a protest. But you have to be 13 to do that too anyway. So, it makes me really mad at lawmakers. And thats why they put a 21+ for guns (LOL).

@Mallory you can use Faio if you have your parent's permission. The Law applies to those who make websites, not those who visit them. As long as you have 100% certainty that your parents are OK with you going on here, it's fine for you to do so.
